A guy from Minneapolis/St. Paul once told me, "Everybody I've ever met describes their weather as 'if you don't like it, wait five minutes' but this is the only place I've ever been where that's true..." -- all the same, this is weird even for us. I'll take the 70 degrees in January any time though -- see, I said we actually do get warm occasionally (though usually not that warm -- the 40s and 50s are more common).

Wheee! Someone who actually knows where I am! So far the sideways snow hasn't been too bad and it hasn't been as cold as last year. We may actually get an early spring! Wheeeee, again!

And, wow, you started in Rapid City? That's where I am -- Spearfish/Sturgis started their own group a few years ago, though their membership numbers bounce up and down. But then, whose don't?
