Low-cost prescription drugs for Americans (USA)

... Not slighting my European and Canadian friends, but I know most of you folks have reasonable health-care systems.
I was watching Trevor Noah a couple of nights ago when he interviewed Mark Cuban. Mr. Cuban talked about his new company, Cost-plus-drugs-dot-com - https://costplusdrugs.com/

Basically, you can buy generic forms of many drugs (and they're adding more as people express a need) for the cost the company pays (which is shown on their webpage), plus 15% markup, plus $3 pharmacy fee, plus $5 shipping fee. You have to get your doctor to email/fax the prescription, but I assume most doctors would be willing to save their patients money.
I know for many people, prescription drugs - even if they're on some kind of "plan" - is a significant expense. So if that's you, check it out.
