why is it all the rage on flickr to make your pictures look horrible and fake? Seriously, HDR, High Dynamic Range, more like Holy Dumb Retarded!
Don't know what I'm talking about? Go search "hdr" in flickr tags. Basically someone takes more than one picture of the same thing at different settings, and stiches together the "optimal" exposure for different sections of the picture, so that it's all bright and looks unnervingly like candy. I find it weird, because it actually takes away the dynamic range and makes the picture a lot less interesting to look at. I dont understand what the motivation is to spend more time to suck out all the soul from one's photography. Oh look, pretty colours! Nope, it's crap!
