“It’s been fun. Don’t come back.”
Don’t worry. I won’t. If GLaDOS could smile, she would be grinning like mad. Do to default implants in all test subjects,(As per regulations of course)she could see everything Chell was seeing, hear what she was hearing, feel what the girl was feeling, and know what she was feeling. This would be her greatest test yet.
Chell stumpled out of the small shed that led to her personal nightmare.
“Oi! Eh, you there!” *pant, pant* “Wait up!” inwardly the young woman ground her teeth. Wheatley. The Moron. She didn’t stop. After all the man had done to her, who could blame her?
“You certainly do walk fast, don’t you?” Chell only sped up in response. She considered hitting the big dope with her portal gun, but, in the end, decided Wheatley’s thick skull would do more damage to the gun, then to his head. So instead Chell merely shook her head and continued onward.

Valin’s eyes stung as he opened them. He’s had that kriffing dream again. Always a young woman about his age or maybe a few years younger and a young man about the same age as her, wandering aimlessly though a wheat field.
“Good morning,” came the announcer’s voice over the intercom, just like the last fifty times he’d been awakened. “You have been asleep for nine days,” I’ve been here for three weeks?! Valin thought, distressed. “In compliance with state and federal regulations, all testing candidates in the Aperture Science Extended Relaxation Center must be revived periodically for a mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise. You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, look up at the ceiling.” Valin heard a buzzer and looked up at the celling.
"Good. You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, look down at the floor.” Again, he followed the directions given to him.
"Good. This completes the gymnastic portion of your mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise. There is a framed painting on the wall. Please go stand in front of it.” Valin did.
“This is art. You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, stare at the art.” He was really starting to feel indignant.
“You should now feel mentally reinvigorated. If you suspect staring at art has not provided the required intellectual sustenance, refl-“
“I know your body and mind is fully functional Jedi Horn.” A cold feminine voice that sent chills up Valin’s spine interrupted the announcer.
“I have a task for you. I, of course know quite a bit about humans, but not how humans socialize. I only deal with one human at a time. Your job is to go and find a former test subject named Chell."
