I've been eating alot of junk food lately and have been drinking beer instead of liquor. I've been really lazy about cooking for myself, esp. on the weekends. As a result, I've gained about 10 pounds. I've got a bunch of frozen chicken breasts and/or chicken tenderloins in my freezer so I think I am going to go to the store tonight and get some stuff to prepare my chicken with. I would love to do a stir fry with the chicken tenderloins and a bunch of vegies and some brown rice... that would be awesome, but do I need a sauce for everythign to cook in? or do i add it afterwards? I think I'll start with pasta and work my way east...
my ipod shuffle died and I was kinda really bummed out about it but then my boss saw me looking at ipods on ebay and he offered me his because he never uses his since he got his iphone. the best thing about it is its green. also, now I HAVE to update the music selection. I was in dire need of a new playlist when my last shuffle still worked.
I had another amazing weekend. hung out with mike friday night, spent all day saturday with Heather. I went over to her place in the morning for some awesome breakfast (the pancakes and the bacon = yessssss). Then we went and got me some used cowboy boots that I ahve been enjoying ever since (they're part of my costume) and then we went to frankles (frank's ankles <-- how i learned to stop saying the name wrong) halloween store to get her costume make up and blood. Then we drove all around Houston looking for cap guns for me and ended up finding the perfect stuff at the acadamy off Greenbriar and 59. But the hunt wasn't a total loss; when we went to the Galleria to see if there was a toy store there I got to stop at Journeys to use my gift card that I've had forever. Shoes have gotten crazy expensive since I worked there. $42 for Vans slip ons?? Whatever. That's what I got. Some black Vans slip ons. Then we ate at Spanish Flowers (so good) then we carved pumpkins at my house then we went to Big Star then to Justin's (everyone had just left and the inhabitants had gone to bed, oops, sorry, heather.) Then to Poison Girl then to her friends' place then to sleep. VERY eventful and fun Saturday. Sunday ruled because I got to spend the afternoon in Pecan Grove hanging out with Mike. We went to McDonalds (see the first part of this post) then we played arcade games and watched 30 Rock and South Park and played more arcade games. Fun times. After that I went down the street to my parents house and hung out with them and my mom cooked some awesome pasta stuff that I like. Free dinner!
Fed Ex Mike is taking fucking forever to get here and pick up our packages. Way not cool, Fed Ex Mike. I'm hungry and I still need to go to the gym.
I've had allergies all day and it sucks. My nose keep going into explosive fits and my eyes are sooo itchy. I hate this. But it is motivating me to get a flu shot, because I don't think I could handle real sickness. Assuming this ins't or doesn't turn into real sickness.
