I had a dream last night where I was bumming around a town that was pretty much Lexington except it was built around the lake where I grew up.
Throughout the dream I kept running into the characters of the anime 'Bleach' (which I have never watched) and every time we would split up and then meet again they were a different age than before.
I learned from 75-year-old Hitsugaya that the city that I lived in was an artificially created dream city (SURPRISE). He and his groupies had all long since reached their... uh... golden years and discovered that everyone unwillingly had their memories altered about different events in their past.
So, they were reliving different events in Dream!Lexington to re-obtain their true memories (Which was very, very, very important, of course.) and it was my job as a dream!citizen to facilitate this process at the expense of my existence since everyone would "wake up" after their memories were restored.
So I was left wondering if I should help as I was intended to or screw them over to prolong my life.
'Inception' + 'Bleach' + a touch of 'Source Code' = I blame
catystorm.
[edit]: Oh, there's also the feeling of, "Oh, shit. I'm in a
Boltzmann Brain." That's my own damn fault.
