Harry Potter Nostalgia...
Man, I don't even know how I stumbled on this, but I suddenly found myself reading Aja's Review of HP Book 7, and it just sent me on a tailspin of nostalgia.
All the frustrations I had with the latter books of the series. All the years of deep, abiding love. All my Slytherin feels. (Slytherin 4 life!) All of the memories. All of the fic!
It's kind of crushing that so many of the Harry/Draco Classics are now lost to time (*cough* author deletion *cough*), but I did find this list of links to some H/D classic gems. Unfortunately, many of the links are now defunct.
(Speaking of... I am confused by this "Wayback Machine" thing. People can opt out of it? Do I have to have a specific URL to look up? Or else can I just type "that awesome fic where Harry and Draco had sex on the goalpost of the Quidditch Pitch"?)
I've been re-reading some of my favorites this morning, some by Ivy Blossom and Aja, and they're still some of the best writing I've ever encountered. The nostalgia! It burns so, so sweetly.
