Kill Your Darlings...
Speaking of killing those baby darlings... I've become obsessed with Kill Your Darlings.
Tragically, I can't get my hands on the actual movie probably until it hits Netflix (whyyyyy no wide release?? D:), but I did get my hands on the screenplay over here. Between the gorgeously written screenplay and the trailer, I feel as if I have seen it. A "true" story? Ehhhhh. SO WHAT DANEYOUSOPRETTY. Dane, you are trying really hard to be my new Tom Hiddleston, you gorgeous freak, and I just can't with that.
Those damn Beatniks are threatening to pull me down into a dark Ginsberg and Kerouac-lined hole when I've got other things to do, gentlemen!
Also! Very, very close with Knots 10. I was going to cheat and call it 10A, but there's no reason to call Knots 11 10B except to try to keep to the original number of chapters. And I've clearly already failed at that so...
And, of course, that Days zombie apoco!fic plot bunny is distracting the heck out of me. I enjoyed reading that Kill Your Darlings screenplay so much that I've been writing apoco!fic in screenplay format in Scrivener. It's been really fun, and I've already gotten a lot written. I'm sure it won't still be in screenplay format when I eventually post it, but I'm enjoying myself in the meantime.
