The past months have been really good for my career, business and modeling. I actually have six magazine feature shoots recently, four had been released and two are to follow. One was last May and the other one is indefinite. I still can’t believed I’m part of it. This year has been good since I am also included in the recent major fashion show in Doha, Qatar and Shoot for a cause (a fund raising event to help baby LJ who is suffering from leukemia) I will try to write separate entries for all the photoshoots I have been doing (if time permits). It’s just a hobby for me though. I love the outcome of the pictures! I love collecting the pictures from the professional photographers! Photos are archives of our lives so we should never get tired on collecting it. The more the merrier!
Makeup artists and hairstylists retouching the models faces over and over again (I think I’m one of the few models that time who prefer not to have a makeup artist… I prefer to do it on my own.
Before as a part of audience I don’t know half of what happens in a shoot or in a runway show. They only see a successful runway show. They don’t see models dressing and undressing backstage like the speed of light just so they can enter the runway at the right time!
I have been very very very very busy (is there other word besides from BUSY?) but thank God for showering me with all these blessings after all these years. I’ll try to write and update more (well, I keep on saying this but it never happened, hahaha I think I should hire secretary soon! lolz). Nonetheless, thank you to all my supporters/fans/friends that have been messaging me in twitter, instagram and facebook. Thank you that I still remain as an inspiration by many but source of pictures to be stolen in the Internet! I just hope those pathetic people will stop using my pictures to their profiles, etc! I also hope that Internet users will be smart enough to know that lots of people are just stealing my pictures and pretending to be me. (Haaaayz enough of negative vibes!)
I recently flew to Copenhagen, Denmark. It was a very short layover, we landed there around 3 in the afternoon, and departing the next day morning. We headed to the city right away. One of the crew that I'm with has been there many times so we didn't have a problem with the directions going to the city and the train station is just few blocks away from our hotel.
Nyhvan 'the New Haven', was originally a busy commercial port where ships from all over the world would dock. The area teemed with sailors, ladies of pleasure, pubs and alehouses. The beautiful old slanted houses were renovated and classy restaurants started popping up.
Many of the houses lining the quays of Nyhavn have been the homes of prominent artists. I had fun walking in the city although I'm not that geared up for the weather! I didn't bring any jackets with me! The weather forecast from my iphone apps told me it will be sunny 17-20 degrees Celsius! To my surprise it's 10-12 degrees and very windy! I'm glad one of the crew lend me a jacket otherwise I have to buy just for that day...
