Hmm, a journal. As a man, I have little need for this. A man shouldn't keep his emotions bottled up inside of a book. He should be proud enough to express them freely unto the world. But, I am not here to discuss that. From what I've heard, this book can be used as a tool for communication, so I'm here to find out some more information on these "Malnosso" villains. Not to mention this... invisible force of some sort that's blocking our escape from this town. [And no, he didn't find out about this from running straight into it what are you talking about.] It's astounding how much damage this thing is able to endure. Even a highly trained shinobi like myself had difficulty doing anything to it at all. Does it have any apparent weaknesses that have been discovered?

Ah, there's also a notorious villain wandering around named Ragna the Bloodedge. He seems to have settled down a little since coming here, but keep in mind that he has the highest bounty on record from my world, so it would do you good not to underestimate him. He is a criminal and shouldn't be dealt with lightly. I am on the case to bring him to justice, but until then, stay away from any man with that name.
