I know, these things are usually run by BNFs and other people of vast popularity, but there is a massive shortage of Friending Memes to do with books on LJ so I decided to add one, albeit a bit of a specific one! :3

You've arrived on the Disc! And a horse and cart have magically appeared before you! What region are you anxious to see first? I'd shuffle along the Sto Plains, call in at Sto Lat and Sto Helit to ease myself into the whole thing. And from there it's just a hop, skip and a jump to Ankh-Morpork.

I see! Does your favourite character live there? No? Who is your favourite character, then? Vimes lives there, indeed. As does William de Worde.

Ooh, nice. And your least favourite? Yes, everybody has a least favourite - even if they don't admit to it in public! I'm sure I could never say such a thing! *coughTeatimecough*

Fascinating. So, your favourite book would be...? Night Watch is excellent. And I do love The Truth. Actually, it's a bit of a toss-up between the two. And a special place in my heart for Small Gods and Pyramids.

Eek! William de Worde has been hot on your tail and now wants a little word with you. Don't mind that flash - Otto has his favourite picture-box with him. So! What do you tell de Worde about? I gush about how much I've wanted to meet him - the first newspaper writer in all of Ankh-Morpork. I quickly descend into sharing bits and pieces of gossip I've picked up from the Sto Plains.

Well, I'm sure Commander Vimes will be lenient - maybe. Whilst you sit in your cell at the Watch House and ruminate, are there any things from our world that you're missing? Books, CDs, television shows, celebrities, music? Oh so many different things! My books: the Austen, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings! My films - musicals, mainly - and my television shows: Merlin, Gossip Girl, Glee...!

Ah - it's all a mistake, you're being released. But Cheery wants to know if there anything else the Watch should know about you! Do you get PLT at certain times of the month? Wear a black ribbon? Have an unusual fondness for green squishy things in jars, or come from Überwald in general? As a small child, I never learnt when to shut up. Rambling ensues.

Uh-oh. It's a summons from Vetinari. You're in Discworld now, you need to be a member of a Guild! Which Guild do you pick? Presumably after you've told Havelock how awesome he is. I would like to say a Seamstress but that would do terrible things to my reputation...

On your way to orientation, you run into CMOT Dibbler, and he wants to - *gulp* - sell you a pie! How do you fob him off? "Throat - can I call you Throat? - have you ever... OH GODS LOOK OVER THERE!" *runs*

Well, that got rid of him! But oh dear, before you can do anything else you are pulled inside a bar. It's Nanny Ogg, and she challenges you to a drinking contest! How many pints do you get through before you faint? Very few. Far, far fewer than her!

You did good! But as you slumped into unconsciousness, Granny Weatherwax spirits you home! Well, it's been quite a day. How would you sum up your journey through Discworld in one word? Zomgosh.
