Kevin Riley walked into Sickbay, trying to draw as little attention to himself as possible. He was only here because he had to get his physical out of the way. He normally avoided this place like the plague.
His head shot up from his PADD when the doors to his medical bay opened. Glancing back down, he marked off the young man, pleased to see he'd made it relatively on time.
He walked over, and gestured towards one of the biobeds. "Officer Riley," He gave him a slight nod in greeting. "Bio-bed 3."
"Yes Doctor." Kevin replied respectfully, returning the physician's nod. He made his way over to the Bio-bed that had been indicated and took a seat.
He tried to breathe deeply, but it wasn't working too well. His shoulders were killing him, but he already knew he was tense. Didn't need anyone to tell him that one. He was in good shape, though, so this shouldn't take very long...hopefully. And the less questions he had to answer, the better.
"That's good. Anything to report to me healthwise?" He continued, scanning him with the medical tricorder as he spoke, relatively pleased with the readings.

He lifted up his medical tricorder and began scanning him, his eyes fixed on the device to read the information produced. "How are you feeling?"

Kevin swallowed. THERE was a loaded question. Trying to be as upbeat as possible, he replied, "Well enough."
It was true...kinda. He was alive, he had all his limbs, and his had most of his family. He was well enough for the moment.

He wondered, however, how well his arms were going to do with the reflex test. They were still tense. That might lead to more questions.
