I can talk about this, or I can talk about how I'm going into month two of unemployment

I think I know which one the internet prefers.

(I /still/ don't have any EI payments. God.)

So! Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, This Time There's No Hitler. I game I have wanted to play for years, and intermittently have tried to play since my second year of university, without success, due to the impossibility of finding a copy that will run on my PS2, or on my computer. In the past, I've never been able to get more than two or three hours in - playing on the computer, everything explodes shortly after the Sky Museum section starts. But that problem has been dealt with (even if there is a rather irritating lag at times when I try to use the /menu/, or all things ... anyway) and I have finally been able to progress through the damned Sky Museum.

I really like having the two games to compare, even though the ending of the last game depressed me.

I will say, however, that if Tatsuya really wants to save the world and his friends by keeping the Innocent Sin characters, he should really stop showing up, being all hot broody teenager with a motorcycle, saving the day and kicking ass with his random sword, and being enigmatic before pushing attractive women and cute boys (and his brother and Baofu) out of crashing blimps. Seriously, that is not going to make /anyone/ want to repress memories in which Tatsuya features, especially not in the case of Maya and Jun.

It is /very/ nice to see that Jun appears to be a functioning human being who doesn't hear voices, though. Need to see Eikichi and Lisa before I'm fully appeased, though.

Also quite liking Katsuya, the big brother and cop all the lady demons want to take home and keep as a pet. Even if I'm randomly and irrationally irritated that he and Maya use the same weapon - despite Maya having two guns, which are tiny and pink, and Katsuya using a ... real gun.

So, really, it's all fine and promises to be enjoyable once it starts being more answers than flashbacks, despite the whole ... voice acting ... thing.
