What a week
I've found myself dragged into another pit of wondering Why with regards to writing, which makes editing ... well, grind to a halt, really, but when I manage to slog through it, it becomes an even slower and more painful ordeal than usual.
I wrote a random bit of a thing during lunch today to see if I'd feel better if there were some new words that weren't just regurgitated old words - the answer seemed to be 'not really', although now I have a couple hundred words of worthless blather in a notebook.
To transcribe? Maybe. Not today, though.
It might be a good brain-clearing exercise every now and then, but all the things at the forefront of my brain are actual proper projects, not little bits of nothing. I suppose this is where I must concede advantage: fanfic writers. Curse them.
Yesterday, I burnt myself on the fax machine.
