(By which we mean the rough draft, and not anything even remotely resembling a coherent, complete, or even terribly good piece of words smashed together to tell something akin to a story. So 'done' is a word applied with very little thought to its actual meaning, or anything like real, relevant done-ness.)

(Although I probably won't feel nearly so pleased - and I don't feel pleased, just kind of weird and empty - in a couple days when I'm back home and get the fun of transcribing fifty notebook pages for my three loyal readers. [My wrists won't be pleased, either.])

(And it will sit and not be looked at much for a couple of weeks, which is probably how long it will take me to print out the hundreds of pages I'll need to print out so I can start working on the rewrite, with the goal of making everything actually look and read and be a novel.)
