television rankings

When it comes to this year's ranking of shows in terms of adults 18-49 ratings and most people watching, I am not sure whether I should be proud or depressed with where the shows I watch stand.

For this season...

The show I saw at least one episode of with the highest 18-49 ratings: The Office (tied for 11th)
The show I watched every episode of with the highest 18-49 ratings: Modern Family (tied for 21st)
The show I watched every episode of with the lowest 18-49 ratings: Better Off Ted (sob) (tied for 108th)
The show I saw at least one episode of with the lowest 18-49 ratings: Dollhouse (tied for 111th)

The show I saw at least one episode of with the most people watching: 60 Minutes (18th)
The show I watched every episode of with the most people watching: The Amazing Race (!!!) season 15 (24th)
The show I watched every episode of with the the fewest people watching: Better Off Ted (112th)
The show I saw at least one episode of with the fewest people watching: Dollhouse (113th)

On the one hand, I'm more than happy to let Dollhouse go; I missed a couple episodes in season two and was no worse for crappy wear. Otherwise, I'm amazed that there are so many people watching shows that I have zero interest in seeing.

Also, because it can't be said enough, ever: I miss Better Off Ted. The last two episodes are currently "scheduled" to air on ABC in the spot reserved for the seventh game of the NBA finals, in the case that it's not needed.

Where do you stand?
