I think I'm gonna quit my job tommorow.
I havent been able to judge at debate tournaments because of work. So I'm making 90 dollars a week at a shitty day job, when I could be making 150 on the weekends judging tournaments.
Bethany has been urging me to keep my job, the only reason I got it was so I can buy her nice things, but this is a purely utilitarian decision. I make LESS money with a job.
Caddo needed me to judge for them this weekend at the Longhorn Classic, so I told him I'd do it. Then, stupid job scheduled me to work, so I wasnt going to be able to.
Then, I found out that Caddo needs me to judge at the Round Robin for them also, so I'd be making almost twice as much.
Plus, I've really been looking forward to spending the winter break with bethany, it looks like with my job I would be able to see her only a couple of days. Fuck that. I'm not letting another winter go by without spending a substantial amount of time with her. I love her, and winter is the best time to be in love.
