Dull everyday post
I stayed in bed all morning, didn't get out of bed until eleven o'clock. I woke up a couple of times earlier and started my usual, I gotta do this! I gotta do that, routine. I realized nothing I had to do today was that important. For years I have woken up and felt I was already behind. I could almost hear "sheeeeee's off and running", like a race track announcer in my head. I like this much better.
When I did get up Robyn came down and we had some cream of rice together. Then she was off to her doctors appointment. I called Cinda to see if she wanted to go to the laundromat. I had about 6 loads to do since my washer isn't working. Cinda and I had some catching up to do because we haven't been getting together much lately. I enjoyed the laundromat and Cinda. (I know. I live a wild life.) When we finished there I dropped her off and went to see mom for a while. Mom says there is a new male patient in the Home who sits near her at meals and wants to be her boyfriend. She says she doesn't like him and he's a creep, but she put on more make-up than usual before going down to supper. Mom is such a trip.
Charlie had a seven o'clock service call so we had a late supper of chicken cordon blue, corn and a salad. Then we watched "Women of Saturday night live" It was very funny. When they put together the funniest bits I love it. Sometimes it's painful to try and watch the whole show though. A lot of it falls flat. Charlie went to bed after the 11 O'clock news. I don't think I can sleep this early after getting up late so here I am. I may watch HDTV or something for a while.
