Beauty is... as Beauty does...

So, it was the call backs for the Australian Amateur Premier of Beauty & The Beast last nite (by the way how I hate having to say Amateur... hmmm - one day, one day soon) and let's jsut say bar the first 40 mins of the evening that comprised of the group dance audition, I sat on my ass listening to people read and sing for a good 3 hours, until finally they call my name and I walk up to the table and they say "We probly should have told you not to come till 10" (At this point I'm just thinking "You're telling me") Then they had me sing the song for the role I was called back for (Lefou) and read with both of the candidates for Gaston, then had me sit back down for another 15 minutes, until they had decided it was time to announce the cast (ps. they didnt call anyone else back for the role, and I don't even think they even had any one else in mind for it) and Yeah, I got the part - Just makes me think why I was even asked to come to the call back... kinda pointless when I was the only candidate... hmmm note for my directorial debut... don't do pointless call backs!
So yeah, it'll be a fun show to do, and I'm sure I'll get some good laughs...
So I'm kinda happy...
Oh and I've got a date tonite... Dennis is taking me to some mystery restaurant with a schmick view for a, and I quote, "Fine Dining Experience"... I got tingles...
