I feel I've grown up but in a way that I'm still a kid.

Onto the Entry:

I watched a lot of movies today. Nothing worth criticizing or anything, but one thing angered me. The use of drugs was just thrown around like nothing. I mean in this movie everyone was smoking and having some "nose candy" as one girl put it. It just disgusted me. I mean people wonder why the US is engulfed in gang violence and drugs. It's not the fact that it's on tv. It's the fact that it's thrown around like it does nothing. I've seen this movie before and it didn't really anger me. It actually does tell the story of drugs quite well. It shows the story of a young girl... well 17 years. Her best friend was a drug dealer and she recently got expelled from school. So she hung out with a new croud an english girl and a boy she had a crush on. They steal, walk out on bills, and worst of all do drugs. It doesn't bug me. I'm all for the ligalization of pot. Not because I think everyone should smoke but because it's easier to control if legalized. No drug dealers, no hidden chemicals. I mean we have so many seats in office supported by tobacco companies it's possible. But back to my point. This was just a bad group of kids. But this girl just refused drugs and they looked at her and questioned her. I really wouldn't want in 10 or so years, my kid watching this. It just influences people to smoke and such. It's horrible. I'm all for freedom and rights and such but this is the kind of thing we don't need on television. I don't know why I'm writing in this because I know no one is going to listen and you guys probably haven't even gotten this far. As soon as I mention drugs and how it angered me you probably skipped to the next entry, but I guess I just wanted to let out my anger at hollywood these days. The movies they put out has just gotten horrible. Drugs just shouldn't be thrown around like that. Sorry for the rant.

Until Next Time

AJ
