Most children sleep easy, dreaming of faraway lands with candy mountains and gregarious unicorns. But there are others. Others who lie in bed trying desperately to ignore their increasing fatigue. They lie awake staring at cracks in the ceiling, listening to the incessant ticking of the clock, wishing for tomorrow. And as night slowly creeps towards dawn, these unfortunate children are overtaken by sleep. They drift deep into dark worlds they can't escape, swallowed by their nightmares. They wake up sweating and screaming, gasping for daylight.

This story is a journey through the twisted subconscious of a younger Pete Wentz, lyricist and bassist of the band Fall Out Boy. The recurring nightmares of his childhood have haunted him to this day, putting them here, on paper, is a form of closure. With the visual inspiration of world famous tattoo artist Tim Biedron, the frightening images that once festered only within Pete's mind came to life. Illustrated by Joe Tesauro with intense colors by Rob Dobi, the pictures tell the story that kept young Peter awake at night.
