Did you know the post office closes at 5pm? Pfft, what's that? BUT! Butbutbut, they also have a self-postage package mailer thingy! It was fun and I got my package mailed. That's right Kare, I just got it mailed yesterday. But it's out of my hands now and on its way to you. Yay! And I will make it up to you. Stay tuned for details, heh.
In other news, at that birthday party on Saturday, I was talking to this cute little gay boy, Phillip, and he told me something that .
First of all, Phillip is 21 and his partner is 40-ish. Phillip is thin and dresses well. His partner is bigger and hairier and wears old jeans and t-shirts. The party was for one of my co-workers, a gay man, who is also older, bigger and hairier (as is his partner). So, Phillip tells me that David and Russ are both attracted to his partner. I say "oh, really?" to make conversation. And he says, "of course, honey, they're bears!"
He goes on to tell me that he and his partner went to C.C. Slaughters (a great gay club in town) one night and they had no idea it was a bear party until they walked in. He tells me that he felt sort of uncomfortable, like they didn't want him there because, and I quote, "I'm a twink!"
Okay, so I've heard of twinks, but I've never heard the term "bear." And I didn't know that bears were typically attracted to bears and twinks to twinks, etc. So, I have a couple of questions.
Are there other "types" of gay men that I've never heard of? Or are they just grouped into twinks or bears?
Also, how would you categorize the *NSYNC guys? I would say that Joey's definitely a bear and JC and Justin are twinks. But what about Lance and Chris?
