8:20 someone knocks on the door, and it sounds like a bunch of people making a racket
David opens the door and there is a skinny, attractive, 60 year-old women sobbing.
She says that she is scared and wants to come in. David and I are freaked out so we offer to stay outside with her and call the police. Through chocked breaths she says she will call her ex-husband to come pick her up. For the next ten minutes I sit next to this women trying to comfort her, the best I know how to comfort a stranger who may or may not be on meth. She seemed to get it a bit together. Told us she has been sleeping with a married bank-robber for a year and he all of a sudden is not going to divorce his wife. Anyways, we talk about bad people in the world, but decide that there are mostly good ones. Her ex comes and picks her up, his steering wheel is on the wrong side because he delivers mail. He pulls into the wrong apartment and she ran to him where we couldn't see.
I think that this will be something I remember.
