It was more a metaphor for something slow and creeping, really. Not a pejorative.

And as for being bought, that was another metaphor, extending from the reference to my father doing business with the Decepticon army. My joining was completely voluntary, I assure you.

Yes, although he speaks less these days. A lot of it is hopping over to Armada-Cybertron to tie up more of his business deals.

And apparently I have a very nice inheritance I didn't even know about.
