A White Bishop
You scored 2 Power-Finesse, 5 Leader-Follower, 3 Unique-Ordinary, and 3 Offense-Defense!

Despite your unusual talents, you are often overlooked by your opponent. You are content to stay off to one side, allowing the bloodbath to ensue. Occasionally however, you end up in the scrum yourself, slaughtering the unbelievers. After all ( Read more... )

((only semi-IC if necessary: ))
An Inner Black Pawn

You scored 1 Power-Finesse, 1 Leader-Follower, 3 Unique-Ordinary, and 1 Offense-Defense!

You are a believer in your cause, so you try to help your black brothers fight off the oppression of the whiteys. Your role is more supportive of the big guys on your team as they do the cool stuff, but at least you aren't just cannon fodder like the Outer Pawns. You have to react to a situation since white gets the first move, but you are the constant thorn in White's side. White is going to try to kick your ass quick, but fortuantely if your King knows what he's doing, someone's got your back. You like your contribution to be supporting the big picture, even if it means you take one for the team.

*Auspex is puzzled* Black is not my color. And... I have no idea what "chess" is.

It's a human strategy game, rather simple by our standards. The pieces are metaphors for various forms of troops and leaders; yours represents the common footsoldier, or 'pawn'.

Ironically enough, my piece signifies a religious figure on the battlefield. Interesting.

*Auspex blinks* If the pieces all represent warriors, and pawns are the weakest, I suppose it is closest, since I am not at all. *she smiles slightly*

*She tilts her head curiously* It is. There are few religious figures on Cybertron with combat skills... although there are few religious figures at all, for that matter. "Slaughtering the unbelievers", though? That is... disturbing. *her brow furrows, optics flickering*

A number of human religions, and they have hundreds of them, have the disturbing trend of wanting to destroy those of other religions or sects. I'm not quite sure why.

It tends to be along the lines of 'My god's better than your god, nyah-nyah'. It's mostly just over land and money, though, if you want to be cynical.

So political motives covered in religious propaganda? I guessed as much. Only humans could come up withe something that silly.

*she sighs* There are those in the Energon universe that I've spoken to that would charge Primus with the same motive. Politics and religion seem so completely unrelated to me.

I think that is more the reverse. Either Primus or something seeming to be Primus is aiding the Autobots, but Primus is not the cause of the war.

No, but associating religion with only one side of a war... it doesn't make sense. At least in this game the humans play, both sides have a religious figure. But Dreadboots speaks of more than one religion? One for each side? Like Primus and Unicron? *she shakes her head; most would say she is thinking much too hard about a simple game* Organics can be terribly confusing...

Even more complex than that. There are those that believe a single man to be the voice of their god, and those that believe that man to be a liar and a demon. Some believe in one creator, some believe in multiple ones, and some believe their planet was created in only a few cycles and that it is younger than I am. *laughs* It's amazing how confused they can make themselves.

*Auspex blinks* Oh dear. It makes me very thankful for the simplicity Primus affords us.

I agree. One wonders why they come up with so many different myths...and then again, one wonders how they function without sparks. My Nexus experiences aside, it does make you wonder how they can be like that.
