*snorts* To put it mildly. *pulls one knee up and leans on his arms. Aside from being comfortable, this also means that his null rays are evident and one is pointing casually towards the tactician* There's nothing I want your opinion on.

I didn't think you did. *takes a seat beside him* But--*all right, let's just get this out of the way* I'd like to apologize for my words earlier.

*looks at him out of the corner of his optic, not moving* If you're trying to make me think better of you, don't bother. *optics narrow* What are you really after, conehead?

*not getting shot again, for one thing* We are in this situation together, and it won't help anyone if we are constantly at each other's throats. *especially the one who DOESN'T have the null rays*

Won't help you, you mean. *doesn't trust Thrust as far as an Insecticon could throw him, and likes him even less*

*I dunno, Kickback could punt him pretty far* No, I mean either of us. You can't possibly like this arrangement the way things are.

Then shouldn't we do something about it? *if he's like this the whole time, Thrust's going back inside*

Pretending is all well and good, but it is hardly a long-term solution. *stays silent for a while, leaning against his knee and staring down into the half-dead city*
