Just another update to let everyone know I'm not ded. To the random anonymous person, sorry, but there's a little thing called living, so updates will be sporadic at times. The shop has been busy since it's summer and all of the tourists are pouring in and Juli's leaving me and Gia in charge of the store Sunday-Wednesday ALKAF;GFLH I'M NOT READY DDD:
There was a nice bittersweet moment yesterday, actually. This lady had come in to buy some ribbon and had spotted this little moose figurine that Juli had tossed in the trash because one of its antler prongs had broken off. I was feeling bad for it, because that was the only thing wrong... and the lady asked if she could have it. Since it would have just been thrown out anyway, I gave it to her-- and she started crying. So of course I'm freaking that I've screwed up, but then she told me that she wanted to put the moose on her son's grave, since he liked them so much and then both she and her husband thanked me a ton and I was just going "You're welcome you're welcome pls don't make me cry. ._." I'm glad the moose went to a better place, honestly.
Caught up on all the subbed eps of Romeo x Juliet (OMG TYBALT ♥) and Gurren Lagann (and yes, Fi-chan. YOUR OTP TWIN LIVES AGAIN XD) and started reading/watching Peacemaker/Peacemaker Kurogane.
HOLY CRAP, THIS SERIES CAN MAKE ME LAUGH AND CRY IN SECONDS. XD It's probably no surprise that Okita's my favorite and lol oh Saizo ♥ Tetsu's my second favorite, and then Ryoma kicks ass with his bad Engrish. XDXD And of course I love Hajime and Yamanami (T_______T WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY) and the dork trio. Best part of the manga is seriously the epic thing with Hijikata's book of haiku and how Okita's just so "=D" about it all while Hijikata's foaming at the mouth. And Susumu, master of the drywall.
I didn't like the anime as much, although there were good parts... but the random evil bad guys with magical powers and Hotaru and WTF I was so CONFUSED. D: And sadly, only up to volume 3 of Peacemaker Kurogane and I can't find it online at all. *FLAIL* Honestly, there are so many great relationships I wanna write about, platonic/romantic/friendly, etc. I mean... Yamanami and Akesato.. Tetsu and Saya, Tetsu and Tatsu, Ryoma and Okita another awesome moment of Okita "=D"ing one minute and then trying to kill him in the next, Okita and Hijikata, Suzu and Tetsu, Susumu and Ayumu, Shinpachi, Sanosuke and Heisuke, Hajime and the world, etc.
AND THE ART IS SO PRETTY, SO YOU SHOULD CLEARLY ALL READ THIS MANGA RIGHT NOW.
A little out of it still, since I only got about 4 hours of sleep. I don't know why, but I couldn't sleep last night, even though I was exhausted. Maybe better luck tonight since I don't know what's wrong. Still considering Permanent Account, but there's the issue with money... so I'll ponder it some more.
Island eats ur brainz. AND WE HAVE AN ELPHABA NOW, WIN.
And off to make my bed and shower and Mom won't be back until July 2 and Dad is already... .... oddly enough, I've been calling him "Sir" lately. Not sure why. x.x
