the king?
Okay, people have been arguing back and forth about who the king is (basically it's down to naruto/kyuubi vs. asuma and kurenai's kid) but no one's really gotten anywhere. Here's what I think...
At first, when he was playing shogi with Shikamaru and first mentioned the king I thought he was talking about a lover or something. Just because he says "You'll understand it when you're older," or something like that.
There are a few hints pointing to a pregnant Kurenai, like the whole kakashi/asuma talk and then kurenai coming in...then when he quits smoking, but even if she is pregnant I don't really see why his child would be the king. I mean, to him his child is probably the most important thing, but then I got the feeling that he was talking about like the entire village or something.
Naruto could also very well be. I don't know, I wouldn't be too happy if he was. It's too predictable for me :)
Someone pointed out that it could be the kyuubi, which i guess also makes sense.
I'm still hoping for an asuma/ kurenai kid though. The would make me ship AK hardcore.
The point is that 329 needs to come out asap XD
