Merdeka Day: the most Malaysian thing I have thought of today is wanting to rewatch Kopitiam.
Otherwise, have been living in a fictional English village named St Mary Mead where the most alert and intelligent people in the area are the old spinsters of indeterminate age who are constantly knitting fluffy jumpers for their relations (q.v. "old pussies").
