today I would like to talk about coulrophobia (and maybe britcurryphobia)
I have it, and it's because my sister persuaded me to watch Stephen King's It when I was four or something. To this day I can't even watch clips of the damn thing on Youtube. I couldn't finish the book. I give displays in HMV a wide berth. If Pennywise is there, if so much as one strand of his hair is in the picture, I am as a jelly. A quivering, 20-year-old jelly.
...Anyway this random observation was made because over on Cake Wrecks the latest post is about clown cakes and some person ordered a birthday cake for their kid (who must have a stomach of iron and excellent mental health) with a photo of Pennywise on top.
I mean just what, what kind of kid is this

The other day I had my first taste of a real English curry. It was horrible. I took a bite and then another because I couldn't believe something that not only contained sultanas and maybe an optional pinch of curry powder (they probably omitted this) but was also cold, sweet and vaguely milky could possibly be grievously mislabeled as "chicken korma". At least put a "local British variant" or something on the sign dammit!! It could have been raisins in there, I don't know. I don't normally go near the 'curry' dishes in my college cafeteria but the alternative was potatoes or sandwiches and I'd had enough for the week.
There were peas, but I think they were the best part of the dish.
I've read descriptions of British curry in Discworld before, BUT I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD BE THIS BAD, REALLY.
Art will be up sometime this weekend.
Maybe the hilarious result of the tv ident project that caused me muscle pain, tired eyes from blinking at Final Cut Pro, a lot of LOLZ (along with the other groupmates) and mental stress will be up next weekend.
