I have previously expounded at some length on how awesomely hilarious Date's Engrish is so I will not go too much into that here. I still think the "SHIT!" moment in Basara 2 has yet to be rivalled, but they'll probably get around to animating that soon. I mean. The fangirls will storm the studios if they don't.
Also the synchronized dancing of the ashigaruhei in the OP is THE BEST.

Next episode looks to be the introduction of the Oda crazies. I like Nouhime. Mitsuhide, I'm still a bit. um. okay. Still, uh, getting used to this version of him.

It is strawberry season and at the market I am getting them two punnets a pound. French, Spanish, British, Californian, Egyptian, Australian, I've tried them all and honestly I don't know how anyone can eat them without sugar, the only sweet ones I ever ate were tiny ones in China.
When browsing in the Book Warehouse, I apparently have the self-restraint of a magpie in a silver cabinet, because in addition to a new edition of Much Ado About Nothing there is also Regency Recollections: Captain Gronow's Guide to Life in London and Paris and, from an earlier foray, the imaginatively-named Manor House : Life in an Edwardian Country House.
Oh yeah, wamyne made my neighbours think my flat was Bedlam (what else is new, they should all be used to the multiple-times-weekly shrieking fests by now) last night with this comment.
