Title: Easter Egg Hunt

Summerary: just a funny little Easter Fic
The messy-green-haired prince opened on eye and groaned as his darling Fuu opened the curtains and let the all too bright sun pour into his room. He quickly buried his head in his large pillows and proceeded to go back to sleep, his favorite thing, except Fuu, and food. All three were essential to life itself, but at this moment sleep was winning out.
“Ferio!” Fuu exclaimed as she tore the bed sheets off his boxers-only wearing body, “It’s Easter morning! No time for sleeping in!”
Oh, if only she wasn’t so enchanting wearing that pretty white dress and smiling just so, the way that tickles him inside and makes him give her what she wants. “No, not that smile, please,” be begged his green-eyed love. “I just wanna sleep babe.”
Fuu pouted slightly, “but Miss Hikaru and Miss Umi and I have spent all morning hiding Easter eggs around the castle for you and the rest of the gang.” She hugged the poles of his canopy bed and tilted her head, “and it’s no fun if you stay in bed…”
“Okay, okay, I’m coming.” Ferio grumbled as he grabbed his white pajamas and put them on, Fuu watching with her oh-so satisfied grin.
He slid one foot into his shoe and his eyebrows went up, “what the heck-“ there was a nice big lump in his shoe. “Is Easter putting eggs in peoples slippers? Because if that’s what it is, it’s no all that fun.”
Fuu giggled, “no silly, you have to find eggs, and whomever gets the most eggs, wins a prize!” She was practically jumping up and down with excitement and delight.
“Hey, would the prize happen to be seeing you naked?” Ferio asked with a wink. Fuu rolled her eyes and laugh, “Oh, I doubt that.”
Ferio was going to have to get used to these weird customs, he couldn’t wait for her to try out some of their holidays, now that will be a fun one.
The two headed down the hall, Ferio holding a green egg, still not so sure what Fuu was up to. Their friends soon greeted the two, and Hikaru seemed ready to explode with excitement.
“Ferio! Fuu! Did you find any eggs yet?!” The excited red head said.
Ferio frowned, “Yes, one in my shoe, and it wasn’t funny.”
Hikaru ignored him, “Lantis sat on his!”
Ferio blinked, “and how is that?”
“I put it in his bed! And then when he sat on it, it cracked!” Hikaru bounced around, while poor Lantis looked annoyed, but smiled at her vivid excitement.
Umi began handing out Easter baskets, “now, no pushing, shoving, or stealing. I hope I’ve made myself clear on that one,” Umi spoke as if she were a cross between a drill instructor and a kindergarten teacher. “The person who comes back with the most eggs wins a prize, good luck, and get hopping!”
Clef looked the most out of place, holding a bright pink Easter basket and looking slightly bewildered. Caldina seemed psyched, but she always did… The group began to wander off and look around for eggs.
“So wait, why are we looking around for eggs?” Ascot asked Ferio.
Ferio thought for a moment, “oh yea, because we wanna see Fuu naked.” He replied before he started looking underneath a table.
“Uh, I’m not so sure that’s what we’re doing…” Ascot trailed off before checking in a flower vase. “Oh! Got one!”
Ferio jumped up, bumping his head on the table’s underside, “crap!” He rubbed the now growing goose egg on the top of his head. “Can I have it?”
Ascot stowed the egg away in his basket and ran off, “it’s mine!”
Ferio blinked, “um, ok…”
Caldina already had 4 eggs, and had spotted another one, when Clef grabbed it just out of his reach. “That’s not fair!” She yelled at the master mage.
“Don’t be so slow,” he replied as he quickly left the room, his basket nearly full, he was going to win that prize.
Ferio continued to wander around; he now had a green and a pink egg. He shrugged, every where he looked there was no more eggs, and running around looking for eggs was making him really hungry, for eggs. Nice scrabbled eggs with bacon and lots of fruit….
Hikaru ran ahead of Lantis, “I want you to win! Fallow me! Look here!” She pointed out yet another egg, this was getting annoying, and she had pointed out every egg she hid, just so he could win.
An hour after they had all been sent out, Umi called them back in for an egg count. Everyone waited nervously while the three girls counted the eggs. Umi rolled her eyes when she saw who won.
Umi stood up in front of everyone, “ok, and the winner is… Clef!”
“What?! That’s not fair! I helped Lantis find so many eggs!” Hikaru pouted.
Fuu pulled out a giant fuzzy pink stuffed bunny rabbit and handed it to Clef. “Enjoy your prize” she smiled as the master mage took the pink rabbit.
Everyone burst out laughing at the site of Clef with a pink rabbit, it was a real sight. Clef blushed big time, a pink rabbit was not his goal, and the prize was rather deceiving.
“Ok, can I get some food?” Ferio asked, then he looked a Fuu, “and then you come back to bed with me?” He winked several times.
“Well um, I think I’ll take my rabbit to my room now…” Clef trailed off.
Ferio took Fuu around the waist and they headed off to the kitchen for some breakfast. “That was fun,” Ferio said with a semi-satisfied nod.
“You only found two eggs,” Fuu replied with a giggle.
Ferio blushed, “well yea I know…”
“I’ll make you a nice big breakfast to make up for it ok dear,” she smiled and began putting on an apron.
“Hey, could you take off all your clothes and make me breakfast wearing just that apron?” He asked with a sly grin.
“Oh that would be rather entertaining, but way too much fun for one day,” she laughed.
“Easter egg hunting was fun, but I don’t envy Clef and that pink rabbit.” Ferio said as he shuddered slightly.
“Oh but it was so funny…” Fuu grinned.
And that was Cephiro’s first Easter; just wait for 4th of July lol
