i have the house on mango street! i had to read it twice to appreciate it more. hehehehehe :-) i like the way she wrote it, though. parang whimsical/parang bata (in a good way! ..and last time i remember. hehe.) ang tagal na kasi. think i was only in grade school then. hehe

funny because this book i bought is secondhand so there are scribbles all over the pages...and obviously they're written by a gradeschooler :) parang book report nya to or something kaya ang daming notes sa pages ng mga margins :D
