For those of you who don't know Fido is Vice Admiral Garp's ship.

Hi, Lucy!

I'm sorry I haven't been around very much. I've been doing some research while we were docked here for a few days. I'm really worried, though, because I haven't seen Ed for a few days. I think he had some sort of a secret mission, though. But it's weird he didn't tell me about it. He usually takes me on those types of things since I'm a better fighter than him.

Has everyone really been reassigned to Vice-Admiral Garp's ship? I wonder what they'll do with me, since I'm not officially a Marine...

Hmm. I'll bet I could figure out a way to fireproof her fairly quickly. I got kinda caught up in learning about seastone. That stuff is chemically crazy!

I was reading up on it in the library. It's extremely rare, though. I need to see if I can get my hands on even just a little bit before I try fabricating it. I mean, I think I've got the equations right in my head, but I want to break some down myself first, just to be sure.

I can try. It's kind of risky, though, since I'd have to alchemically alter the entire ship. That's a really big reaction, and it'll take a lot of energy. If Nii-san were here I'm sure we could do it. He's better at alchemy than I am.

We're always as careful as we can be. We've had experiments go bad, before, and it's not pretty. So yeah. Heh.
