Bombs in London
Holy shit
I woke up to an email from a friend in NY asking if we were all ok here - switch on the news and there have been 6 blasts (no idea who yet) at least 2 dead and no idea how many more maimed and injured. London is pretty much at a stand still, the tube is shut down, people trapped down there, buses ripped apart. They are saying as far as they know no kids involved.
I dont know how many people I know may be affected but my parents have heard from my brother but no idea on how his girly is.
Its amazing - yesterday the jubilation of wining the olympic bid, the news was joyful and this morning this.
edited to add Have now heard from several freinds to say they are ok altho stuck up in town. And been checked on by others. The internet, mobile phones and texting have made it so much easier to get peace of mind at a time like this.
