((ooc:...s-sob this was opened in a tab in my firefox for pretty much the whole day...I just never got around to commenting ;;))On Arthur's face is a blush that has been there from when he kissed Alfred. The minute he got home, he started planning what he and Alfred would do for their date, a nice walk around the park, perhaps a ride on the Eye of London, dinner at that new restaurant down the street (he made sure that they made gourmet cheeseburgers). He knew that Alfred might laugh at him for planning out this date to such an extent, but hey, he wanted this date to turn out right ( ... )

[ooc:No worries, I'm responding right before work...D:]

Alfred smiled at the reaction, feeling some of his confidence boost from the other's reactions. If there was one upside about this, then there was that. He whistled at the other's appearance and offered the flowers anyway.

"Pfft, girls shmirl--I just wanted to give these too," He gave a Hollywood approved smile, and waggled his brows, "so ready to go? Though I'm not sure where really first--" he laughed, "--guess I'm at your command there."

Arthur blushed a little at Alfred's whistle and smiled, he liked it when Alfred gave him command. "Let me put these flowers in some water, and then we can go. Come inside and sit down." He led Alfred inside to the living room and walked into the kitchen to grab a vase, filled it with water, and placed the flowers inside it. Arthur noticed the color of the flowers and smiled a little, red, white and blue, the colors of both their flags.

He walked back into the living room and gave Alfred a small peck on the cheek. "I made reservations at that restaurant down the street for later, so I guess we can go walk around the park for a little bit. Do you have an umbrella? I have one we both can share, if you don't"

Alfred smiled at that, and fought the very childish urge to move his hand up to his cheek and keep it there. Instead, he just nodded along as the other spoke and at the details of their date, grinning.

"Sounds fine with me," He moved to get the other's hand, smirking as he brushed it past his lips, "should've known you'd get the details down. You're always so good at planning."

Arthur laced his fingers with Alfred's, blushing a little when he felt his hand brush Alfred's lips. "Well, one of us has to be. You ready to go?"

Giving a little chuckle at that, he gave a noise of approval.

"Always," He replied, ready to follow the other outside, "though you're going to have to promise me later to give a better tour of your house, I swear I've never seen that couch before--I think we'll just have to test it out before I can really get comfortable." He gave the other a scandalous wink, something a little less outright lustful as something from Francis but plotting nonetheless.

"I'll give you a tour, though not much has changed since the last time you visited. ...and we'll see about getting comfortable on the couch if you can keep your head out of the gutter!" Arthur responded, blushing at the wink. Just because he is always in the news for sex acts doesn't mean he's that easy.

He led Alfred to the door, opened up the umbrella, and proceeded to walk down to park, all the while never letting go of Alfred's hand.

"So how was the movie?"

Moving closer under the umbrella, actually taking time to notice the park around him. He smirks at Arthur's words and nods--figures, but then again, if he didn't keep him on his toes, then he wouldn't be the UK now would he?

"Fair enough," He replied with an over-exaggerated sigh, "though that better be on the agenda at least! I--oh...movie?" He continued to scratch his chin, still somewhat lost when it hit him, "Ohhhh...that thing...yeah..." He didn't want to admit he'd totally forgotten about it really, so instead he offered, "There were...aliens?"

"We'll see about that." Arthur watched as Alfred remembered details of the movie, smiling a little bit at how he was acting, knowing that he would never hear the end of it if he called Alfred cute. "...so you only paid attention to the aliens? Figures..."

Arthur lead Alfred to all his favorite spots in the park: a duck lake, a bridge with a nice view of Parliament and Big Ben, and a giant tree on which several local couples have written their initials in hearts on the tree through out the years.

Well that answer meant he was moving in a positive direction at least, allowing himself a rather goofy little love-struck smile. He watched on as Arthur pointed out several landmarks, and then looked up in time to see the tree.

Giving a small chuckle, he elbows the other lightly: "You know, I could climb up there and make one for us--the HIGHEST and BIGGEST heart." The had some of those at his place, though by now they were littered with graffiti and whatnot...still, when--definitely when--the other came to visit, he'd offer the same promise. Even as the rain still falls around them and the air is cold and damp...it's as if it's the best sunniest day that the UK has graced him with.

Arthur eyed Alfred warily, then smiled, chuckling a little bit. "...well if you really want to, I wouldn't mind, as long as you don't hurt yourself..."

To be honest, he found the whole concept of hearts engraved on trees to be quite silly, the tree was one of his favourite spots mostly because he like to read underneath it, but something about Alfred wanting to make a heart with their initials made the day a lot better.

Caution--who needs that?

Alfred suddenly adopts the role of a dashing gentlemen out to impress a lady friend, and eagerly set out to find something for him to grip so he could launch himself in the air. Climbing up with all the hassle of an overly eager child, he's about mid-way, when he gets out his knife, holding onto what he thinks is a sturdy enough branch, and begins to carve a heart--it comes out somewhat more like a 'W' backwards--and starts to put 'UK/US' when the branch snaps from his grip and he slides.

He doesn't fall too far, but he does land on his bottom, and his pocket knife is still in the tree.

...So much for his pride as a hero.

Arthur watches Alfred's efforts with a smile. He starts to remind Alfred to be a little more careful when the branch breaks. He looks at Alfred, and tries hard to keep his laughter in, but some giggles do manage to escape. Arthur walks over to Alfred and asks between giggles, "Are you alright, or do you need me to kiss it to make it feel better?" and he instantly feels he could have said something different....but it wouldn't be that bad...

Alfred scowls up from where he landed, a wounded look on his face.

"I could've broken a bone you know..." Smiling suddenly he sighs dramatically, "I think I bit my tongue a little--you may need to kiss that." He indiscreetly moves slightly to make room for the other.

"But you didn't..."

Arthur sits down in the open spot next to Alfred. "So, now...let's make it feel better..." Arthur slowly leaned in and gave Alfred a kiss.

((ooc:...i need to finish those kissing icons...))

[Got one~?]

Reaching forward, he grabs the other closer and really leans into it. England tastes like that tea he likes so much, and hell, there's time to kill right?
He moves forward to taste some more, moaning slightly.
