I'm engaged.
I know you're not going to approve. But you're still my best friend, and you still deserve to be one of the first to know.
We don't have a date set yet, but it's going to be soon. With the press already attacking me, Tony isn't interested in calling a press conference; the wedding pictures will be the equivalent of an official announcement. I'd like you to be there, if possible, though I do understand if... well. I don't want this to come between us more than it already has.
I also wanted to ask you -- have you spoken to Sharon? Is she doing all right? I've tried to call her, but she won't answer. I just want to know if she's ok.
