(no subject)
well, after a straight week of being inconsolably, ridiculously, frighteningly ill, i finally feel okay today. i'm still coughing, and i still have a runny/stuffy nose, but NOTHING compared to what i had been feeling like. thank goodness. i really wasn't sure i was ever going to get better.
i went to anthropology today for the first time since last thursday, but it turns out i haven't missed anything at all. i turned in my doctor's excuse for tuesday, and we were actually still on the same chapter in our book as we were the last time i went to class. so hooray for not being behind.
i don't think i'll be behind in art, either, because i only missed one class in there [excused, thank goodness], and i know he didn't cover THAT much material in 50 minutes. plus, i've already done my next chapter response for him, so i think i'm okay.
terrorism and psychology are a bit different, but i'm really only behind on reading. i didn't miss any days in psych while sick, and i only missed one in terrorism... hopefully i can catch up in a couple of days.
i'm disappointed. blake and i had plans to go to edge fest in ohio at the end of may [i was taking him for his birthday present], but it turns out that he can't get off work because of memorial day weekend and blah blah blah. i think we're going to go to huntsville, alabama instead and see jump the shark, choices made, xno excusesx, and a few more bands the following weekend. hunstville is definitely closer than ohio and will definitely save me a load of money, but edge fest was gonna be off the chaaaain. oh well. maybe next time.
