we talk about art, we talk about europe.
it was the first time in a long time that everyone has been that calm. in that safe of a place. there was no cutting edge, no pulsing intensity.
we simply were, together. forgetting the time that had fell between us.
its a good feeling, to be with people again, and realize that you've made the foundations for a lasting friendship. it always seems like so much work at the time, to build and maintain relationships, but there is a satisfying security, in a reunion with others after time has passed, that makes it seem like there has been no distance at all.
the coffee that we had gave me enough of a high to lull me into an exhausted, relaxed state of being, to which i am going to seize, and poke off to bed.
