i think i am the only person i know who is overjoyed with the weather. yesterday upon emerging from my cavelike domicile i was thrilled to find that not only was it super fucking cold out, it was 'snowing'. i squealed (just a little bit) and jumped about before re-realizing how super fucking cold it was and how drastically underdressed i was.
my body refuses to switch off of nocturnal mode. i was up til 7 am this morning and slept til 4 pm. and i'll probably be up as late tonight. the only good thing is that i am getting a remarkable amount of housework/homework done because there is very little to do at 4 in the morning.
modest mouse was as much fun as i hoped. project and i consumed a substantial amount of alcohol and left late enough to miss most of the opening sucky guy. mouse's performance was vastly superior to the last time i saw them in austin. i wasn't quite happy with the acoustic quality of the venue, but i still enjoyed myself, dancing and the lot.
oh and by the by i forgot to mention how wonderful the life aquatic is. everyone should go and enjoy this fine piece of cinema.
does anyone else remember how adult swim used to not suck?
