What a week this has been!
Tuesday's Shakespeare midterm left me feeling about 50/50. Some parts I totally got, others not so much. We'll see. All I'm looking for is to just pass. That's really all I'm looking for in college in general. I mean really, I've already screwed up my chances of studying abroad(even though I don't think I would have gone if I had the chance) and I have NO plans on going to grad school. As an English major, I really don't see the point as I don't want to become a college professor.
But that's all boring.
The best part of the week came when I scored BILLY IDOL TICKETS!!! Like w00t to the w00t w00t! And I won my super tall, gonna make me HUGE boots on Ebay. But back to the Idol. OMG... I'm going to see Mr. "Mony Mony" himself. :::heart::: This is a sick confession yes, but I will tell you all anyway(I mean in comparison to my Christopher Walken fetish, this doesn't really compare). I have had a girlhood crush on that man since I was like a wee tyke. I remember seeing a man on TV one time with really bleached blonde hair and a leather jacket and just thinking that he was the cutest thing ever. But at the same time, I think I was a little bit frightened. And now to see him about fifteen years later. Wow.
Okay, more boring stuff.
My manager almost asked me to be a crew leader today, until I declined. It sounds good in theory: a raise, a guarantee of never having to go into the dishroom, and the power to get other people to do the work for you. And then you actually get into the position and it fucking sucks. It's just not worth it to work with the managers I have and the shit they put on the crew members. No thanks, I prefer to just be another bottom of the barrel worker.
Oh and I almost forgot...
I have an interview for an internship for the summer. :::crossing fingers::: I need to actually do SOMETHING this summer besides being around my dysfunctional family at my brother's wedding. Plus, I need the experience.
And apart from my dreams acting up and making me crazy(to which the details of embarrass and grrr me too much to post here), that's all.
