(no subject)
yesterday was spectacular...yeah...definitly...
I started the day off by sitting in my room watching cartoons, that's pretty awesome. I then decided to head over to Pacsun to pick up my check...but I didn't feel like driving...so I walked to the MITS bus stop and rode that to the station to transfer to the bus that goes to the mall...well I waited for a really long time but it didn't really seem that long cause I just sat around and observed and watched everyone. it was very relaxing. I get to the mall, get my check, and then ride the bus back home and run to the bank to put money in my account! that's always nice having some money...not much...but it's money.
After that I ran over to Dave's, picked up my xylo/bells/etc. and ran over to practice with Hannah. We got alot done and I'm feeling alot more optimistic about her parts when she records now, so that's definitly good. So I leave Hannahs and I'm driving home and Gavin calls and he's like, "Justin...we've got to help Jared, He needs English 11 Second Semester credits to graduate so he has to take summer classes...but the only time it's offered is when we're on tour!" Sooo, I go home, look up some online classes and find a really good one for Jared, and just as I found it, Gavin Julie and Greg all show up at my door. So we call this place and we set up an account deal for Jared there over the phone...but This Story got a fan out of it! I was in the middle of giving the Assistant guy Jareds info, and the convo over the phone went something like this...
Assistant Guy- "What's your relation to the student?"
Me- "weeellll...I'm not related to him...I'm actually a band mate and I'm trying to get this set up for him so he doesn't have to miss our tour."
AG-"Oh you're in a band?! That's cool, what's the band name?"
Me-"This Story..."
AG-"hey that's a pretty neat name, ok anyways, What's his phone number."
Me -"***********(I won't put jared's number on the net for all you crazys!)"
AG-"ok, and I think that's about it...hey do you guys have a myspace music?"
Me- "yeah...it's just myspace dot come backslash this story."
AG-"That's awesome, ok, I'll look you up, and when you get famous I'll be able to say I signed one of your members up for a class here!"
so yeah...it was kind of goofy.
and anyways...after that, Gavin Julie Greg and I went to Puerto's for cheap food and just kind of hungout and had some fun. After that we went to the burris school play ground and played mulch tag and it was so much fun! All of the little kids wouldn't leave greg alone though, it was funny, they absolutely loved him! And on of the kids dads kept laughing at Gavin cause he couldn't catch any of us when he was it.
So following tag, we went to look at the bus that we're buying for tour and then we met up with Jordan at the MT Cup. We hungout there for awhile then we went over to Village Green Records to hangout with Jared. He mad us some awesome oriental wrap things and gave us some chocolate pie! Aaaand we watched a documentary on some folk singer who looks exactly like Dave Segedy(our drummer). It was wonderful. After that Jordan and I came back to my place because apparently we were having a small get together at my house. needless to say, that was a wonderful time and a great way to end the day...
so now I'm just kind of sitting around waiting to head to indy with david to hangout with some cool people...i think i'm going to go eat some spaghetti or something...awesome.
