In fact, such a good kinda weird, I had a very interesting (in a good way) dream because of this story.

Oooh... I love dreams! Is there any chance you'll tell me what it was about?

My dreams are always terribly tactile/sense-oriented. I do a lot of shopping in my dreams, basically just checking things out. What does this feel like, what does it smell like, what does it look like... But sometimes I also just lounge around with people and note things like the texture of his hair and the weight of his head on my arm, the lines in his palm... Ahem. Okay, yeah, I dream about a couple of seventies tv-cops sometimes, too.

Personally I like stories that have just enough of a supernatural edge to make you wonder... or even more.

I have a whole nice section of a story I want to write later planned out about Who allowed Starsky to come back after he died in Sweet Revenge, and why.

weird - in a good way.
this story has a great edge to it. The boys are hot and unhappy
and it comes out in waves. This story reminded me of The Silver Cloud Cafe by Alfredo Vea - angels hung out on the roof of a bar in that one - in the middle of a hot city.

My hand hurt after I read. Great imagery and storytelling. God is a crack-up. thanks for the great read, Reb!

Oh... I had to look that story up at amazon - it sounds interesting! I'm going to have to check and see if my library has a copy.

It's very good to know that the story worked for you, and I'm glad you caught the edge. I'd also say I'm glad I could make your hand hurt in sympathy with Starsky's, but that doesn't come out quite right, does it? Still, it's quite a compliment and thank you!
