(no subject)
In case anyone is keeping up with the count down... One week until my birthday!!! :D 21 at last!!! I have rediscovered the wonders of Les Miserables (the play) and am ever so fascinated by it all. It has been playing nonstop in my car (except for 'Rent' has played through once) since last Saturday and that is like 300 miles ago. I sing it nonstop and have realized that my tastes have evolved. My emotions get so caught up in the emotions of the music. I got beeped at by another car at a stoplight the other day because I was closing my eyes and pictureing the staging to go along with the music and singing at the top of my lungs and missed the green light... By the time the person honked at me and I opened my eyes the light was turning yellow... Whhoooops. I've also realized that while I still love Cosette, my favorite in the play is Eponine. There is just somthing about her that as I listen to the soundtrack over and over through to the end I fall ever so more infatuated with the thought of her and her trials and depression and utter satisfaction in her last moments of life. And I play her songs and the song 'Stars' over and over and over when I first get in the car... just to get a fix (Stars simply because like the rest of the music---- the song is a melodical masterpiece) I love this musical. I love LOve LOVE it!!! And so that's that then
