650,000 people are hospitalized each year for attempted suicide...
This is something that really hits home to me. I suffered from severe clinical depression. I still suffer from clinical depression but it's under control now. I was close to killing myself last year. Thankfully, I never had to call. I got myself help before it was to late.
But it's important to me that it stays privately owned. If it becomes government owned, it will no longer be an anonymous number. The government will be able to track the number and will send help in the form of police.
