MOVIES!!!

As I can't quite sleep, and am quite bored (although I should be day dreaming about a wet, half naked Hugh Jackman, or even my own Leroy ♥), I am going to do a little movie report on some of the films I have seen over the past few months.  A more serious post soon, though.  Anyway, I shall commence:
  • Crank: High Voltage-Sexy Australian man, nudity, graphic violence=an enjoyable film, and that's all.  It's a pretty ridiculous movie, but a lot of fun, anyway.  Worth the watch.
  • Eraserhead-Beautiful, haunting, extremely chilling, quite disturbing.  A film like this does not leave you soon after you watch it.  Everybody needs to watch this at least once.
  • Obsessed-Recently released in theatres; about a woman who becomes seriously infatuated with her boss, Beyonce's husband.  I didn't think it was as good as the previews made it look, but it was a pretty good thriller, had some intense parts.  Worth a watch.
  • Eden Lake:Stunning., stunning film about a couple's trip to the woods being terrorized by a group of young teens.  Harrowing, graphic, and unsetting.  Made me very empathatic throughout its entirity, and I couldn't get over it once it was finished.  A definite must-see.
  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre:The Next Generation-The first remake of this series circa 1994.  Features a pre-douchebag Matthew McCoughnay and pre-whale blubber Renee Zellweger.  Matthew is even a little sexy!  Alas, it is the worse of the TCM movies.  Not very graphic, kind of pointless, and Leatherface (my favourite horror symbol <3) is rarely dwelled upon.  Eh...yea, worth a watch lol.
  • Observe and Report-Still in theatres.  Seth Rogen's latest film about a security gaurd aspiring to be even more (hmmm, sounds familiar, doesn't it?).  Was filmed right here in Albuquerque (grr, if only I knew!), and was funny enough.  Didn't try to be emotional like its predecessor Paul Blart, and really didn't have any moral at all.  Some pretty good laughs and cringe-worthy moments like the fat man running naked through the mall for like, five minutes haha.  Worth the watch.
  • I love you, man-Still in theatres.  Hilarious.  Quite hilarious.  The context is a little sad lol (if you know a guy/guys like this), but yea.  Everybody I know who saw this movie really enjoyed it, and I agree.  Worth a watch.
  • X-Men Origins:Wolverine-Very good, indeed!  I really liked it (especially naked Hugh Jackman-I'm a sucker for Aussie men and arm veins o.o).  From watching the other X-Men movies, I wasn't aware how long Wolverine had been alive.  I heard it has two different endings, so make sure you stay after credits to see which one you get!  A must see.
  • The Boondock Saints-LOVED this movie.  Graphic, gripping, great story.  One of my new favourites.  I thought that gay Willem Dafoe was very sexy (and no, I can't watch a movie without drooling over the hot men or looking for the sexuality or violence in it.)  Definitely worth a watch.
  • Tokyo Gore Police-Has just about everything a good Japanese horror movie should-crazy story line, tons of violence and unrealistic gore, women turned into snails and chairs, and people dying everywhere.  Because of stupid megavideo, I still have 20 minutes of it to go, but I am already sold.  If you're a fan of J-crazy J-horror, then you'll love this.  I sure do ^^  Worth a watch!
  • Real Dolls and the Men Who Love Them (a documentary)-Creepy, creepy, creepy.  When I posted this in the disturbingfilms community, I got a lot of back lash from angry commenters who thought I was being judgmental towards mens like this, but what the fuck ever.  These guys have serious issues, and some of them will even make you sad.  Only 40 minutes, so definitely worth a watch.
  • Full Metal Jacket-An old time (ok, a few years) favourite of mine.  I love war movies, and especially enjoy this one.  I'm sure everybody has seen it, and if not, is at least familiar with its famous lines "Hey baby, you have girlfriend Vietnam?  Me love you long time!  Me so honry!"  Haha.  Circa the Vietnam war.  Gripping, fun, and just a good watch all around.  Watch it if you haven't!
I have a few more, I think.  I watch a lot of movies haha, but I am tired and my arms hurt u.u  Cat Munchies is finally coming out of hiding for a little and sleeping it up on my bed.  Too cute.  I bid you all a gut nacht~  Yea...I have a very eccentric taste in music u.u

movies, munchies cat
