IT'S SNOWING
My house has like five inches of snow on the ground and it's still going. I'm sure y'all from places that regularly get snow are shaking your heads right now but this never happens in Wellington: Usually we get flurries every four years or so; it doesn't usually settle like this. And this shit is forecast up until Wednesday :D
So I am giving myself a freaking snow day! Okay technically I'm still going in for rehearsal and I'm pretending to use today on an assignment, but hey.

And this one's from the hospital; I love that they dressed up Hospi (the hospital lion, our mascot) for the snow!

It started last night during rehearsal, which meant the last half hour of rehearsal kept getting interrupted by people staring out the window and going "IT'S SNOWING!", ahahaha; apparently after I escaped the cast had a snow fight. When Mom and I were driving home there were people playing on the road :D
At least it rained a bit last night so the road is pretty clear. I'm just hoping that WCC doesn't pull a Christchurch and try to clean out the snow with dirt or silt or whatever they used, because that was nasty.
Random side effect that I'm loving: Pretty much every Wellingtonian I know's Facebook status is about the snow, and a lot of people in other bits of New Zealand are posting their jealousy! Not even sports games can unite my feed this much!
