Spent New Year's with the band and family, the TV1 New Year's countdown, COD, and leftover fireworks from Guy Fawkes (because in New Zealand they're only sold in the week before Guy Fawkes, screw you New Zealand).
Back today from a two nighter in Ohakune. The bandmates did the Tongariro Crossing. My family doesn't tramp; they went to Taupo and I was like lol whut I didn't come here to go to Taupo and chilled out in the townhouse all day.
I am not looking forward to this year.
1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Fly (in its airplane definition) solo. Make two international moves solo. Flat. Hold down a full time job. Live on said full time job instead of mooching off my parents. Pay for my own schooling (well, okay, the tuition was free so I only paid materials). Use Spanish outside of class and family. Be in the original cast of a show. Buy stuff online. Do shots. Get hungover. Drive. Get fired. Be in a country illegally. etc etc etc
It's been a hell of a year!
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but one of my FL friends is pregnant! :D

5. What countries did you visit?
US of A, with a stopover in Ozstarlia.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
I...can't actually think of anything that I lacked all throughout 2010. If anything I wish improvements on some things I still have.

January 23rd. May 5th, 11th, and 19th. July 1st, 6th, 10th, 11th. August 13th. September 17th. Uneven split between relationship shenanigans and work/Program stuff.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Living on my own.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Losing the job and subsequently overstaying my visa.

Back pain?
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I loved my txting plan in the US. $20/month = unlimited texts to any network.

Working. RPing - okay, those two don't work together. Performing. Writing. Drawing. Watching the media I've accumulated on my harddrive.

I sucked at every kind of relationship this year; it was amazing! I would like to have sucked less.

Chillin' at some bandmates' house.

23. What was your favourite TV program?
Glee and Skins, not that I watched much else; though Glee's story's been going to shite so Skins might almost edge in front even though s4 was pretty damn terrible. Oh, I really enjoyed the Olympics and the World Cup...though I guess the latter in particular is more because of the fandom than my great love for football.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Does it count if it's because I hadn't met them yet? (Nah, I don't hate anyone I met in FL. I was creeped out by some, disgruntled by others, but I don't hate anyone.)
25. What was the best book you read?
What is a book... All I can think of that I hadn't read before was the Skins novel and that was terrible, and Percy Jackson and that was meh.

My taste went even more mainstream than it was already (thanks, XL 1067). My bad. So I submit Kate Miller-Heidke, whom my roomie introduced me to. She may be Australian but she is fabulous! And fantastic live!

I kind of bought most of the little things I wanted. Oh! A formal!

Admission anywhere but Vic (four hundred dollars), Disney graduation, a new job, 222, a cat.

I turned nineteen, finished a paper at 3AM, went around the world, didn't finish a funnel cake, handed in said paper, learned about the American car industry, and Skyped my Kiwis.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Graduating my Program.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
It evolved in Florida to "short skirts and dresses", occasionally with a touch of roughening up or playing down the girly. I was getting pretty damn comfy with my fashion concept in Florida; I think because I didn't really need to worry about keeping warm like I do here.

Friends.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I don't actually recall much celebrity crushing this year. Feel free to correct me.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?

Everyone at some point or another. The joy of the transience of the College Program and two international moves.
