Life:
Finally sorted most of my uni stuff. Just need to print off my folio track listing and go in and argue my DU transcripts. (The problem: DU is not an accredited institution, but its courses are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education. So I have an ACE transcript, because Disney doesn't do the transcript thing. But it doesn't have my grades; the only things that do are my final grade reports from each class and my record of learning (which has all my work training sitting on it too). Awwwwwkwaaaaard.)
EDIT: Offer of Study. Oh MICKEY what if I don't get into those two theater courses. WHAT IS LIFE. I don't even know how they select for those two. I don't know what I'll do if I don't get into all my classes I only enrolled for six! MAYBE I'LL JUST DROP OUT FOREVER AND WORK FOR UNIVERSAL! THEY ALWAYS TAKE DISNEY REJECTS. /dramatic
Finally caught up with my Wellingtonians for the first time since I got back in a picnic and shopping trip on Friday. Fantastic. Oddly nice weather, too; I am confused. This is Wellington; I'm pretty sure summer isn't supposed to start till February.
Inspired by last week's Glee episode, my band is doing Teenage Dream at our next family friend grandma birthday party. I am slightly concerned.
Dinner out at One Red Dog and icecreams on the waterfront with some of my Wellingtonians and some compsciers I didn't know last night. Yum.
Fandom:
Just finished the latest season of Doctor Who It was fuuuuun. Still in lust with Amy but now also in love with Rory.
Watched season two of Haruhi with my sister last week. I don't know; I found Endless Eight hilarious. Our parents were more annoyed with it than we were. It got to the point where we were reciting half of it along with the show. "Just what are you doing with Miss Asahina at this hour?!" Second round was the best, though. Why? They had the best costumes then.
GS: Dark Dawn is out in English on November 29; EB NZ pegs it for a TBA 2011 release. Amazon's shipping is $36USD OH MICKEY WHAT.
Geek geek geek:
Rereading Alice and Kev is making me want to install The Sims 3, make Sims of people I know, put on Free Will, and see what happens. I don't think this is the message I was supposed to take away from this.
Latest webcomic I'm Archive Binging on: Candi. About an fine arts student and her flatmates and the typical college drama (the perils of grades in art degrees, panic, love dodecahedrons) and the occasional ferret vs. squirrel mafia subplot in sunny Florida (but I'm pretty sure the author's legit Floridian: there's a strip where one of the characters is freezing cold at 65F). Fun. A longrunner, so lots to Archive Binge on. And I find it hard to find webcomics I like because I'm so picky with the art style; I've bailed on so many that sounded good on TV Tropes but I don't like the art.
My NaNo has totally stalled. I get the occasional idea for it when I'm not in front of my computer or carrying a notebook and then later I sit down and nothing happens. I think I have forgotten what NaNo's all about. Oops.
Possibly I'm just having too much fun getting back into RP. digilife is starting to pick up hilariously (also, I love icon package resizing), I'm playing Miracle Mikuru again in romancedressing (ah, my fluff fix) and have a half-finished app for her for witchesreign, thinking about apping sis to sortinghat_rp, poking at discedo's fourth wall, and threw a few at anonchatmeme. Feels good, man.
