Jesus christ, it's two hours to NaNo

EDIT: HEY ARI, HEY ARI, I checked the forum FAQs and apparently fanfiction is officially allowed now. :O "Yes, fanfiction counts. The only rule for content we have is that it must be fiction."

HELP ME OUT, FLIST. Give me your spare names. Characters (double barrel names are love; ethnic characters would be awesome because for some reason the vast majority of my current cast have turned out Pakeha*), "if I opened my own restaurant it would be called", "there should be a shop called", "I would write a song called", "if I had another journal and there was no such thing as a character limit it would be", "wouldn't that make a cool band name", whatever. Anything you don't mind me using. (In other words, don't give me the name of your future child in case the character turns out to be a prick.)

Please and thank you. ♥

(Current cast list includes:
From RP, AU'd into the 'real' world: Ash Ward, Nic Ward (and her twin sister Dani, who I don't play), Maria Santiago, Aveline Izumi Rocher, Tora Makino, Sumiko Fujieda, Takara Aragaki (huh. notice how they're all from Digimon universe? o_o); Lu Carmichael
From musing, condensed into one generation: Brendan Langwell, Dairine Starr, Julian Aberdeen, Calix Nielsen, Luna Freeman, Jono Matsuki Marshall, Zach Murdock Tilmitt, Lane Perrin, Tash Kavanagh, Nicci Nielsen Thomas, Natalie Owens,
and various from my old Awaroa project...and a name I saw on a reCaptcha and was like "AHA!")

* I heard there's this theory that most people, given a literary character without any defined or blatantly obvious ethnicity, tend to picture them as their own race.

I always picture them as white. Similarly, most of my original characters are white. I suspect the latter is because I know shit all about Filipino culture and writing a Filipino immigrant is just screaming for the Mary Sue label, but... ? How do I still picture random characters as white by default? Side effect of growing up in a white-dominant society with predominantly white friends (though towards the end of primary school, my best friends were Chinese-raised-in-New-Zealand and Filipina-raised-in-Japan)? The media's fault?
